Submission of Abstract
Submissions of abstracts for individual papers or panels related to the conference themes are welcome, covering (but not restricted to) the following topics:
- Translation and Literature
- Translation and Culture
- Translation and Technology
- Translation Pedagogy
- Interpreting Studies
- Audiovisual Translation
- Corpus-Based Translation Studies
- Translation and Ethics/Virtue
- Translation and Globalization/Localization
You are cordially invited to send us an abstract via email conference2023.hk@polyu.edu.hk by 30 May 2023:
- Abstract: no more than 300 words (excluding references)
- Reference style: based on Chicago Manual of Style
- Please also provide your full name, affiliation and email address
All abstracts will undergo a blind peer-review process, and authors will be notified of acceptance by 3 June 2023. Accepted presenters will have 20 minutes for presentation during the conference.
After the conference, selected papers on Translation and Technology will be considered for publication as an edited anthology. Selected papers on other conference themes will be considered for publication in special issues of Translation Quarterly.
