Prof. Binghan Zheng holds the Chair of Chinese and Translation Studies at the School of Modern Languages and Cultures, Durham University, where he also fulfils the roles of Director of the Centre for Intercultural Mediation and Associate Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Studies. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIoL) and a By-Fellow at Churchill College, Cambridge University. His research interests encompass cognitive translation and interpreting studies, and comparative translation studies. He has authored five books and more than 60 journal articles, and his recent contributions are featured in esteemed journals such as Target, Translation Studies, Journal of Pragmatics, Brain & Cognition, Across Languages & Cultures, Perspectives, and Foreign Language Teaching & Research. Professor Zheng is an Associate Editor of Translation Studies, and a member of editorial board for Perspectives, Journal of Translation Studies, and Translation Quarterly."
