Keynote Speakers

Prof. Chikako Tsuruta (鶴田知佳子) received her BA from the Department of French Langauge and Culture of Sophia University and MBA from the Graduate School of Business Administration, Columbia University. She was professor at the Institute of Global Studies of the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS) from 2004 to 2019. She is now Professor Emeritus of TUFS and professor at the Division of English, School of Arts and Sciences of the Tokyo Woman’s Christian University. Professor Tsuruta has published with Interpretation and Translation, Interpreter’s Newsletter and FORUM. Prof. Tsuruta has been media interpreter at the NHK since 1992 and CNN since 1998.
