She sometimes talked about the president and democracy issues in USA. Thus, I got to know more about USA. Besides, some of the Tsinghua students discussed with me the political issues in China and Hong Kong."

"After the five-week placement with Warwick Manufacturing Group in the UK, I have learnt a lot of things which I have never expected before going to UK. I have learnt skills like problem solving skill and decision making skill. My standard of English has improved also within five weeks. At least my listening skill is improved. I also learnt some English slangs which are commonly used by English people. Apart from all of these tangible improvements, through working and living in UK, I have also widened my horizon.
