  • Programme Aims:

    Chinese is one of the most important languages in the world. Our Minor program consists of eight different levels of Chinese courses and two Cantonese courses. The program provides students with Chinese language training and equips students with communication skills. The Cantonese courses focus on the strength of listening and speaking ability. The content of Chinese courses includes listening, speaking, reading and writing. Taking the Minor Program will definitely enhance students' competitiveness in their career development.
  • Programme Outcomes:

    After completing the program, students should be able to:
    • communicate in Chinese (Putonghua/Mandarin) fluently
    • read and write passage in Chinese
    • master grammar pattern and related expressions
    • familiar with the cultural elements in Chinese expressions
    • attain Basic grade B or above when taking HSK
  • Admission Information:

    For full-time international undergraduate students admitted from 2008-09 onwards
